Counselling for those
in relationships |
|
![]() Separation CounsellingThere are times, when counselling cannot resolve problems within a relationship. Where it has become clear to you and your partner that your relationship cannot continue, your counsellor will help you both cope with the pain of separation. S/he will also support you in dealing with the impact of separation on your children and in moving on. Where it is impossible - or undesirable - for you to come as a couple for counselling, you can be seen individually. Our counsellors will help you with personal difficulties caused by the breakdown. Counselling can give you the skills to move forward more confidently in your life. Separation counselling is also helpful to those who have experienced separation and divorce and find it difficult to cope with the trauma. You may feel stuck and unable to begin a new chapter in your life. Counselling can help you explore why this is and help remove the barriers. The counsellor will help you cope with the past, deal with the changes and start again. AppointmentsAll clients are seen by appointment. To arrange an appointment either contact the Dundee office (no matter which centre you wish to visit) or fill out our contact form and we'll get back to you. There is a short waiting list (View the waiting list FAQs) but we aim to offer appointments within two to three weeks. If, however, your availability is limited the waiting time may be longer. |
